About Me
I was born and raised in Germany, therefore I am fluent in both German and English.
I graduated with my Master’s from SUNY Oswego and I am currently licensed in both North Carolina and New York. I have acquired certification as a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist through Evergreen Certifications. I have extensive training in Child Centered Play Therapy and am currently working toward my certification.
During individual therapy sessions I create a space that is empathetic and non-judgmental so you can feel comfortable to be yourself and feel supported while moving forward in your mental health journey. I utilize a variety of evidence based approaches to tailor each session based on your individual needs and goals. I will follow your lead so together we will create a path that is right for you.
During Play Therapy sessions I create a comfortable, safe space for your child to express themselves. Through play—which is how your child naturally expresses themselves—I can help your child work through challenges, build skills and feel more understood. It is important to me to ensure that the parents are also involved, so as a team we can provide more consistent support for your child.
I have experience working with individuals of all ages who may present with anxiety, behavioral concerns, parental skill building, depression, ADHD, grief, ASD, trauma, life transitions, relationship conflicts and identity concerns.
I am currently offering in-person and Telehealth sessions*
If you think I am the right fit for you or your child, please reach out for a free phone consultation. I am looking forward to supporting you!
*Play Therapy is primarily in person.
